Dinnertime can be hectic- there’s pots and pans everywhere, every ring on the hob is occupied, and the pasta is suddenly boiling over.

It’s tempting to move the pot away from the heat and onto a nearby work surface, before you have time to think it through – but by then, you have a much bigger problem to deal with: nasty scorch rings on your nice, smooth kitchen countertop.

That’s where our square pan trivet really comes into its own.

Rest any piping hot pan, pot, or dish on it to instantly free up space on your hobs during a busy cooking session, or balance a bubbling, oven-baked lasagne dish on it when serving at the dinner table.

Heat can try and wriggle its way through to get at your countertops or delicate tableware, but the thick, heat-proof ceramic stops it firmly in its tracks.
