Description

By removing paper filters, this 8-cup coffee maker from La Cafetière improves flavour and reduces waste. Its reusable drip coffee filter is made of stainless steel which preserves flavours rather than absorbs them. With its 8-cup capacity (based on a serving size of 137ml), it’s great for social occasions.

It’s made of thermal shock resistant borosilicate glass which means the beaker remains constantly cool to the touch, while the handle has a heat-resistant coating for pouring ease. It has a fetching all-glass finish.

Capacity: 1.1L (2 pints, 37fl oz) / 8 cups (based on a traditional 137ml serving size)

Made from borosilicate glass

Not suitable for microwave or stovetop use

Dishwasher safe

Filter less coffee maker,

This is a lovely looking drip style coffee maker. It’s really easy to use and makes great coffee. It comes with a stainless steel mesh filter included but I use a paper filter as well to keep my coffee 100% ground free as the mesh filter can only do so much. For coarsely ground coffee you might be okay but for fine grounds you’ll want to use paper filters, they also make cleaning quicker. This coffee maker is well made.

This cafetière no only looks really nice on the side of my counter but it also makes really nice coffee. I have always used pod-machines or regular coffee brewed in a machine so this was like a new world for me to test out. It seemed quite confusing at the start but I soon learned how to use it to it’s fullest potential to make some lovely cups of coffee. I even decided to go for some fresh whole beans that I grind myself now.

I do really enjoy the design of it, and it feels really really well made. Not like something that will break easily or rust etc. (unless you of course drop the actual glass part, pretty sure it will crack then….) But over all this has changed my way of making coffee.
