   I much prefer beech to plastic or fashionable bamboo, and the comb joints on the corners should prevent it coming apart in a hurry. The size means it readily slots into the 35 x 36cm internal dimensions of my modern oak sideboard drawers, without wedging. I would prefer it to be a bit wider, so as to use the space better, but you can’t have everything.

   I have no complaints about the lining material; after all, if your cutlery set is especially precious you can always insert your own material. What all these product descriptions lack is the dimensions of the internal trays, so for the benefit of anyone considering this product, you need to know that the two shorter trays’ internal length is 23 cm, which may not be long enough for some cutlery.

   Nice wooden tray which was lined, I purchased two and they fit nicely in my dresser draw on top of each other.

   Not used as cutlery tray, but as a good sized desk organiser which tidies up my Work from Home essentials. Solid beechwood in a good finish, looks classic and professional. Big enough to store 30cm rulers, professional staplers etc.
