I bought one of these tin openers years ago and it worked fantastically well. Then someone presented me with an expensive electric tin opener and stupidly I unscrewed my old opener off the wall and threw it in the bin. Fast forward – the new electric tin opener was scary to use and the instructions were useless. In frustration I resorted to using a hammer to to open tins without a ring pull. I have weak wrists and nearly cut my fingers off using hand held tin openers. So fast forward – electric opener now in bin and I have a brand new Kitchencraft Swing Away opener fixed to my kitchen cabinet. Simplicity itself – no batteries required- just does the job brilliantly. What more could you want?
