In 1896 in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee, Joseph Lodge founded his first cast iron foundry. Now known as Lodge Cast Iron, the family-owned, American company that makes cookware that lasts a lifetime. Lodge is the only remaining U.S. manufacturer that produces an entire line of cast iron cookware, and they were the first to introduce seasoned cast iron to the market, revolutionising the cast iron cookware space with ready-to-use pieces.
